This ground-breaking employment project will support victim-survivors of family violence to find employment and achieve greater financial wellbeing.
Working with a cohort of job seekers who have experienced family violence, the project will support victim-survivors to build their job seeking skills and financial capability, and to prepare to return to the workforce.
The project is also developing and trialling a series of workplace standards and guidance materials to support employers to have trauma-informed recruitment processes, and to better support employees who have experienced family violence.
The program is expected to be designed and rolled out in two phases, with the first starting in October 2020.
