Harmful sexual behaviours by children & young people 

Tuesday 2nd May 1:30pm - 3:00pm

Join Gemma McKibbin, Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and Chloe Lonsdale from the Children’s Protection Society to hear some Gemma's findings from her PHD “I knew it was wrong but I couldn’t stop it”: Young people talk about the prevention of sexually abusive behaviour. Gemma partnered with the Children’s Protection Society during her research.

Gemma and Chloe will:

- highlight some of the harmful sexual behaviours

that children and young people may experience

- discuss the link between pornography use and harmful sexual behaviour for young people

- explore what types of help and referral pathways are available.
