tangible outcome in the community. By partnering with WIRE, you can be part of
a mission that addresses critical issues and creates opportunities for women
and gender diverse people to achieve gender and economic equity.
We have a deep connection with community members and the people we serve. Being a grassroot community organisation means that we don’t see ourselves separate from those who we serve. We are among them and see ourselves as part of the community.
We hear about emerging issues firsthand. This enables us to define and design innovative projects addressing issues that are not yet in the mainstream attention and use the knowledge produced to mobilise advocacy and support for change.
We engage with community partners using community led collaboration approach and empower them to drive change. Our peer led capacity building model is intersectional and trauma informed to ensue direct and meaningful impact on community in the most sustainable way.
