Partner with WIRE

We value partnership and collaboration opportunities to create a greater impact on gender and economic equity for marginalised community and groups.

Driving gender equity, wellbeing and economic security together

Community‑led and grassroots partnerships WIRE works in partnership with organisations and individuals who share our commitment to justice, equity and fairness for all women, and gender‑diverse people, particularly those from marginalised communities.

By partnering with WIRE, you become part of a shared mission to tackle inequality, strengthen wellbeing, and create greater opportunities for gender equity and economic security. Our partnerships are ongoing, including project-based opportunities and are shaped around shared goals, values and impact.

Community‑led and grassroots partnerships

We are a grassroots organisation with a deep connection to the people and communities we serve. We don’t see ourselves as separate from community – we are part of it.

This proximity means we hear emerging issues firsthand and can respond quickly and creatively. It enables us to design innovative, community‑informed projects that address systemic drivers of inequality, including those often overlooked, while translating lived experience into advocacy and systems change.

Our approach to partnership

WIRE engages partners through a community‑led, collaborative approach that prioritises lived experience, shared decision‑making and sustainable impact.

Our peer‑led capacity‑building model is:

  • Intersectional, recognising overlapping forms of inequality
  • Trauma‑informed, ensuring safety, dignity and respect
  • Community‑driven, empowering partners to lead change in ways that work for their communities

We partner with community to:

  • Co‑create and deliver practical solutions to complex social issues
  • Build capacity, leadership and long‑term resilience
  • Strengthen advocacy and influence policy and systems change

Ways to partner with WIRE

We welcome a range of partnership models, including:

  • Corporate partnerships: Strategic or project‑based collaborations that align business expertise, resources or funding with WIRE’s work
  • Community partnerships: Partnerships with local organisations to co‑design and deliver programs or initiatives that respond to community‑identified needs
  • Academic and research collaborations: Research projects, evaluations, resource development and knowledge‑sharing
  • Philanthropy and sponsorships: Funding or investment in priority areas
  • Volunteering pathways: Opportunities for skilled, student or professional volunteers

We also welcome project‑based partnerships, where organisations collaborate with WIRE on a specific initiative, pilot or time‑bound project.
