WIRE is excited to share a new training program aimed at supporting Specialist Family Violence Practitioners. The training is designed to build the knowledge and skills of specialist teams as they support women and gender diverse people experiencing or at risk of financial abuse.

Facilitating Financial Safety training will build your team’s confidence and capability to provide proactive financial support and information with Victim Survivors in crisis, during or immediately post-separation. The program is designed with an intersectional feminist lens, is aligned with the case management program requirements – financial, material and transport domain (3.3.5).

This six-hour training session can be run in-person or online and is facilitated by our trainers with expertise in family violence and building financial capabilities. Our sessions are ideally suited to running within teams as they are highly interactive, include facilitated reflective conversations and case studies and are supported by practical hand-outs.

Please reach out to consultancyservices@wire.org.au if you would like more information about the session topics and facilitation costs involved.
