With our panellists, we will be looking at the ways that money and relationships interact and impact on the lives of women, gender diverse and non-binary folk.
Our panellists will be
- Georgie Proud, WIRE’s Women + Money Coordinator whose project working with the finance sector aims to improve women’s financial well-being by providing a more gendered and strength-based approach.
- Dr Nilmini Fernando, WIRE researcher, and author of When is the Right Time to Talk about Money? research
- Manasi Wagh-Nikam, Women’s Health in the North project coordinator for the “Let’s Talk Money” project that facilitates peer bilingual, peer educator approach, to deliver practical, tailored financial literacy and money-management workshops to women in their own language and communities
The panel will be facilitated by Lou Franklin who coordinates our older women and financial capability program.
