AMICA — it means female friend

The AMICA Club is a free lunch and activities program that runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at WIRE. It’s a club for women, nonbinary and gender-diverse people with issues around secure housing and/or women experiencing isolation providing fun, friendship and connection.

AMICA offers an opportunity for women, nonbinary and gender-diverse people to connect with other people in a safe and friendly space and get more socially connected. AMICA provides a changing program including delicious complimentary lunch, excursions in the city and beyond as well as yoga, belly-dancing and art activities.
