Nationally recognised training qualification
This course is often cited as the minimum qualification required for training officers. It is also highly regarded by employers for positions where training and assessment may be only a part of the role. It also demonstrates that you have highly developed organisational, analytical and communication skills.

Full fee: $1685 **
Concession: $1335 **
(2 concession places per course, full healthcare card holders only)
**The break down for fees is $1600 course fee for full + $35 manual + $50 admin fee and $1250 for course fee concession + $35 for manual + $50 admin fee.

Convenient
Training sessions will run at Queen Victoria Women’s Centre, 210 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne (near Melbourne Central station) on Tuesday evenings 6pm to 9pm (17 sessions) and Saturdays 10am to 5pm (3 sessions).

Skills recognition assessment and recognition of prior learning
WIRE will recognise learning and skills irrespective
of how or where they have been acquired. Candidates may apply for recognition by supplying evidence of:
- Previous recognised training undertaken
- Work and life experiences
- Non-formally recognised training undertake
Procedure: Candidates seeking credit transfer must produce
their original documentation. WIRE reserves the
right to verify the authenticity of the qualification
or statement of attainment.
Information and advice on making application
for skills recognition assessment can be obtained
from the WIRE Training Coordinator.
Candidates may be asked to an interview to discuss
the application and further information or
documentation may be requested.
The cost for the administration
and assessment of skills recognition
assessment application is
$100.00 per unit.
Candidates may appeal a
decision. Appeals should
be lodged with the
WIRE CEO.
