Child Support Changes: what will they mean for you?
On July 1 a new Child Support formula will come into effect, marking the biggest change to the overhauled child support system.
Most women receiving child support will experience a change in their assessed amount – some will receive more, but many more are likely to experience a drop in their assessed child support.
The Council of Single Mothers and their Children have provided information, support and advocacy for single mothers in Victoria for nearly 40 years.
They will be presenting this session and will provide an objective overview of the changes and their likely impact. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
All women entitled to receive child support, their friends and supporters, would find this session of interest.
